Along with Greg Bottrill, Author of 'Can I go and Play now?', I've organised our inaugural Play2 Devon 2018 event - a day of play - and learning!
It's aimed at Teachers, Practitioners and all those working professionally with children from 0-5yrs and is designed to give practical understanding of all aspects of play within early years education and care from some world renowned key note speakers and practical workshop options.

Ruth Swailes (EY consultant for Early Excellence, school improvement advisor, former EY teacher and passionate play advocate)
Tom Bedard (USA Tomsensori blog writer and passionate advocate of the power of water and sand tables in learning)
Topanga Smith (Nursery owner, Loose parts expert and 'Me and Bea' blog writer)
Pete Moorhouse (Author of 'Learning through woodwork', looking at the power of tinkering, real tools and woodwork in play use with very young children).
Sarah Seaman (Teacher, nursery owner and 'Muddy Puddle Adventures' page author with over 11k followers worldwide . She also runs the 'Muddy Puddle Teacher' site and is passionate about outdoor play.)
Rosie Johnson ('Rosie Johnson Illustrates' - Exmouth based artist, writer and Teacher, as well as former FU Lead, who now works with schools delivering creative workshops and is passionate about creative skills for young children in play).
Dave Harry (Devon based Teacher and former Asst Head - passionate about storytelling in play and a Talk for Writing training lead.)

Myself - Hannah O'Donnell as 'Empowering Early Years' (EY Teacher and former Psychology graduate, now training practitioners, teachers and those working with young children across Devon - I'll be looking at the power of play for developing Fine Motor Physical Skills.
